Open PM2 Project Management Methodology - EU Commission
About the course
PM² (pronounced “P-M squared”) is a project management methodology developed and endorsed by the European Commission (EC).[1][2] The European Commission is using this methodology officially, incorporating elements from other known Project Management Standards as: PMBOK, Prince2, IPMA-ICB, and experience from EU institutions.
The main aspects included within the PM² methodology are:
- Project governance structure
- Process guidelines
- Artefact templates
- Guidelines for using the artefacts
- Set of effective mindsets.
The OpenPM² Initiative is being used for the modernisation of European Public Administrations and increase project maturity within the EU. OpenPM² is an easy-to-use project management methodology, both for public and private organisations.
The Open PM² project management methodology course will provide current and future project managers and project team members with a solid theoretical foundation and guidance on the practical application of project management tools and techniques.
