About the Oracle Primavera training
Primavera training is intended to help you understand the process of planning and controlling projects with Oracle Primavera P6 20.1 and earlier versions.
During the course, participants are guided through the lifecycle of a project, from planning to completion. This includes: adding activities, allocating resources, saving a baseline project, as well as the basic concepts of project planning.
The terminology and principles used in this course are designed to reflect current methodologies in industrial project management practices.
Objectives
This Primavera training is structured according to project phases, combining software concepts with practical industry experience from our consultants.
- Oracle Primavera P6 software basics
- Practical Methods for Planning and Controlling Oracle Primavera
- Get an overview of the Primavera P6 app
- Understand the main features
- Create calendars
- Add activities
- Organize activities according to the project objective and change the display mode
- Configure Oracle Primavera P6 software according to the project plan (PMBOK® Guide).
- Add logical packaging relationships according to the technical and legal constraints of the project
- Use table filters, view modes that will create the view for reporting and printing
- Update project progress / Critical path analysis
- Monitor project progress reports – S-curve analysis (Time, Scope, Cost)

Training very clear and complete.
Very comprehensive training. It met all my expectations. I found a good balance between theory and practice. Even though I knew a little about the software, the training showed me that I was not necessarily following good usage practices. I can see all the possibilities of the software.
