About TILOS Training
TILOS training aims to learn how to plan and control linear projects using TILOS 10.3 (Time Location Scheduling) and earlier versions, using the concept of space-time planning using the Chemin du Fer method. (Line of Ballance)
The terminology and principles used during this course are designed to reflect current linear project planning programs defined in the world of engineers and road/bridge/railway/metro construction professionals…
The objectives of TILOS training
- Understand time-space diagrams and the steps needed to create a project plan
using TILOS
- Create the balance line of the project (Planning Chemin du Fer)
- Configure TILOS software
- Add activities
- Set calendars
- Add resources and costs
- Create group activities based on project scope and display format
- Introduction and positioning of the synoptic view for temporal correlation
distance - Add logical and task relationships based on technical and legal constraints
- Use filter types and layouts to create reports
- Project baseline record
- Progress update/critical path analysis
- Organize activities according to the project objective and change the display mode
- Use table filters, view modes that will create the view for reports and
impression - Monitoring project progress reports
