PMP Exam changes

The Project Management Professional (PMP)® exam will be changed in July 2020. Initially, the exam was planned to be changed in December 2019.

The major design change is to center the exam around three (3) major domains:

1. People – 42% of all exam questions
2. Process – 50% of all exam questions
3. Business Environment – 8% of all exam questions

The new exam content will include predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. It is advised to review the PMP Exam Content Outline that will be updated on PMI’s website.

There will be more about delivering outcomes. The exam will cover predictive (approximately 50%) and agile/hybrid (approximately 50%) approaches to project management.
